3 Tips To Avoid Toxic Productivity

Do you feel the need to be constantly busy? Always working on something? Going the extra mile at work, always trying to squeeze in one more task? Everything is goal oriented -leaving you feeling burned out, emotionally drained, and exhausted.

Well, you're not alone. You're suffering from toxic productivity and it's something I constantly  am attuned to because I've succumbed many times as well.

(04:00) Tip 1 – When and how to set boundaries and say no. We must be careful with what we dedicate our time to, it is invaluable!

(8:10) Tip 2 – Focusing on the important and not just the urgent. We want to live in the quadrant of urgent and important not urgent and not important!

(14:00) Tip 3 – eliminating the unnecessary. How can we reduce the things we do that don’t move us forward?

(17:20) The most challenging part of avoiding toxic productivity.

Words to live by - “If it is not a hell yes, then it is a no”. I know, it is so hard to slow down. In the long run, though, this isn’t helping anything. We must master the art of when to do nothing. Did you know, only 20% of the work we put in causes 80% of the results? How can we reduce the things we do that aren’t helping us more forward?
